Possibly a result of cancelling the Darwin to Canberra route that was flown by the E190s. I notice they're all gone (including my flight).

It’s a seasonal service over the December and January holidays, using the E190 off BNE-HBA which has been upgraded to a 737 for the same period.

From the end of March, E190s are scheduled on SYD-LST too.

Have flown the QFLink E190 a couple of times only recently. Great little bird - service was great and got an op-up on one flight which was great, wonder how long it will be around though with the influx of new Airbus fleet….
Alliance are hiring new cabin crew and flight crew specifically for the ever-growing QFLink E190 Fleet, Ground School starts March 2024, I don’t see Alliance Airlines/Qantas Link going anywhere too soon!

E190s now operating QF1864 MEL-DRW, and some having been making tech stops in ASP this month. Perhaps a combination of sector length, loadings and holding fuel requirements since the monsoon arrived in the Top End.

SYD-LST is no longer switching to the E190 in March. The 717 is scheduled again through to the end of October.

Makes sense given they had no other E190 flying planned out of Sydney to line up with the LST flights, and there have been rumours some 717s will be sticking around past the planned July retirement.

They've also returned the 717 to LST-MEL and HBA-MEL (although this replaces the Q300 and 737 respectively for the same period)
It is good to see that J is available on all 717s, no more all Y a/c
