"Article" Things you should know about a plane crash

Actually I think it's a pretty good article... They did miss the 7 seats from a serviceable exit rule... But in any case, if I am unlucky enough to get onto that 0.00001% flight, there are so many other factors which will decide if I will survive or not. (eg can I still move or am I pinned to the seat \ did the plane just crash land or did it nose dive into the ground... etc...)
 
I didn't read it, I refuse to read anything Kate Schneider writes, it's usually complete rubbish and not worthy of my time.

David Blatner, in his lovely little book, 'The Flying Book', asserts that 86% of commercial plane crashes have no fatalities at all. I would've thought this worthy of inclusion in the article.

Yes but that would actually require some research by this "journalist" and given her past articles, it seems the most research she does is discussing opinion over a drink at a pub on a Friday night after work.
