Oh. Just noticed the date... Second thing I've fallen for today - first was project sunrise cancellation

The sad thing is, this is genuinely not a joke - this is actually what Qantas airport staff are now doing! I wish it were a joke.

As per the last paragraph:

It may be April Fool’s Day today, but I’m not even sure that this article qualifies as a joke because it’s true! These are real photos supplied by an AFF reader from Brisbane Airport this week. They are not staged. The real joke is Qantas' customer service.
 
The lack of customer service is actually getting quite scary. A friend of mine recently decide to take several unnecessary trips using the recent DSC for the sole purpose of reaching WP for the first time ever. She did it because she travels overseas alone a lot, and is extremely anxious about not being able to get through to Qantas in a reasonable time frame if something happens. Thus rewarding Qantas for their terrible service by increasing her patronage. She doesn't read AFF, so it was all her own idea.

Many have to contact QF re message telling one to. Sick of loyaty. I live on a Jetstar port. .Am happy as buy bundle with options when booking and receive QF ff points and as they have given many flights to JQ in SE ASIA. Only wait 5 mins to get to contact JQ. . A Joce should try to be a passenger. Getting tired of expected loyalty. He Should return to Eire and fix Aer Lingus ( if possible). Expect he will change our iconic tail plane to a leprechaun and a pot of gold. He never has to go through passengers frustations. Getting to hate him.He is a complete idiot. He should try being a passenger.
