Wonder when late August is as flying into Akl on 19th August

Of course they can. I can. If they can’t then they probably could not manage the paper system either. Educate them if necessary.

Paper has advantages. Customs officers add chicken scratches to it to target liars and those with biosecurity risk indicators. Those caught always say well, i did not personally fill it in ...And as .au is boycotting the most advanced, leading Chinese camera systems, its going to miss risk, and lower performance and savings... Just as outbound have gate traffic lights to ping some exiting. Maybe they can spray you with some UV ink as you pass the autogate. I sure hope BF is not using 'MoveIt' software.

I did the trial run at the end of June at CHC. The form was done at the lounge and once arrived the border staff swiped my passport to bring up my online form. It was done in seconds and got pointed straight to exit.

I started filling in the form as a test - it's probably faster to do the paper one.

It's based on the COVID declaration which was legit painful. Kinda sucks they still haven't apparently fixed the requirement to re-enter the same information over and over again for subsequent declarations.

This has now been rolled out to AKL.

So the NZTD is now available to passengers flying into all New Zealand airports. Paper forms are still accepted if you don't complete a NZTD.

I did the paper one on Sat evening ...boy they do ask a lot of Qs!

Ps..the online one can only be done in English! Unbelievable...

So they didn't do the SQ way by creating a profile.

Or do the SG way, pretty much everyone is waved through other than doing an x-ray scan.

To me the questions are the same as the paper form. Only difference was no "seat number" as on the paper form.
Kept my (unfilled) NZ paper form and will compare more next time.

Excuse me!!! I am of that age and have no trouble with technology. Just did one travelling on 25 August into WLG. Remember that people of that age were in at the beginning of the technology and may even have participated in developing it. If you've come from a science/engineering background you will be up with it. Also travel during Covid needed a certain technological nowse and I'm sure people of that age were into it. ( PS. I first heard of it in the AFF gazette, so well done AFF)

Anyone done it with the trying one hand to open passport to photo page, and using phone camera to take photo of passport when filling in the new (2023) NZ traveler declaration?
I tried with one hand holding passport, and the hand holding phone camera, and its quite hard.
Am an Aust citizen, so need for the NZeTA.

The travel declaration does not need a photo of the passport and I don't know about the NZeTA as I do not need one. I understand Australian citizens don't need one either.
