Article: Great Value Turkish Airlines Round-the-World Fares

Unless you really want to walk in personally, it doesn't really matter where a good TA is located. I'm in Tas and my TA is in Melbourne (and does AY and LH 'RTWs') - if you are interested, PM me.
Hi could I get your TA details. Sorry I couldn't work out how to message you

Has anyone done this recently? It looks like RoundAbout Travel no longer lists Turkish Airlines as an option. Are there other Travel Agents worth contacting about this?

I did a quick search for a return trip from KUL to AMS with Turkish Airlines departing 1 April 2026, return to KUL 11 April 2026, only MYR 7410, or around AUD$2700. Business class. Around 3 hour stopover in Istanbul. Exceptional value for money if considering flying to Amsterdam. Just need to arrange the flight from Perth to KUL, probably just go economy for the short leg there and back.

Having just flown to Amsterdam from Perth business class using QFF points, this deal seems exceptional. Google Flights search as recommended by Matt 👍

Turkish (TK) seem to be offering great connections and great prices, but .... pray there are no changes.
We just came to SYD on TK ticket with some Code Share connections (QF and SQ) SIN-SYD-SIN.
Day after arriving here, I found by accident (no notification from TK) our SQ flight back SYD-SIN got cancelled. Trying to manage my booking, I get 2 options: - cancel your ticket or - change flights.
Great, all on line. And here is where the problems start. Number of options for schedule change most with Code Share partners. The snag is they don't work (see the error).

Contacting Sydney TK Office, they can not see any of the Code Share options presented to clients. They can only see and recommend using TK operated flights only (most with 24h+ layover in IST).
I started to think this can not be right. TK forcing you to their own flights only? Surely, this is the case.
I was able to change my flights by selecting TK operated, but they were nowhere as convenient as QF or SQ, now resulting in a long wait in IST. This is my problem now on finding and paying for some rest in IST, if I need one.

So, cutting my long story short, NO PROBLEMS/CHANGES - GREAT. Otherwise, a very poor service from TK and absolutely no links with QF, SIN or other systems from TK Manage Booking. You might get in Code Share bookings through KrissFlyer or Qantas, but have to discover a second PNR (different than TK one).
