arriveCan app no longer mandatory

From 1 October the mandatory COVID screening aspects of the arriveCan app have been removed as vax is no longer a Canada entry requirement.

The app can still be used to answer the screening questions. I still had to use the Primary Inspection Kiosk (PIK). The kiosk scans passport, take a picture and then gives an option to review or accept the answers from arriveCan app.

Probably saves a few minutes at the terminal if the questions have been pre-answered and considered.
