Are the worst seats always a given for Awards bookings?

I do believe o/w Sapphire are eligible as well - maybe with JohnK's proviso.

If I remember correctly I had some issues with seat allocation as a QF Gold/OW Sapphire a few years ago. Unless things have changed since then....

There used to be issues with AA elites not being able to select seats that could be fixed by a call to BA. I have not had that problem in a long time.
