Hey,

After a few months of joining Aquire I'm looking through the activity statement and the points credited don't match up to what I was expecting.

My reference:
https://www.aquire.com.au/howitworks/airlineearnexamples

Few examples from my statement....

Flex Business Mel - Akl = 1438pts (as expected)
Flex Economy Bne - Syd = 480pts (as expected)
Business Syd - Hnd = 660pts (NOT expected)
Business Hnd - Syd = 560pts (Just weird now)

My confusion is with the Syd - Hnd return journey last year (base earn of 7800(?)). QF booking QF flight number QF metal - all same fare bucket... nothing weird or unusual.

Business earns at 40% internationally. 40% of 7800 being 3120.

Has anyone had anomalies like this? Is my understanding of the points calculation off? Recommend a phone call to rectify?

Thanks all :)

Definitely a phone call required. The aquire email response is also pretty good. I've probably had a better experience when emailing them. The phone number is just the standard Qantas call centre.

Yep, same issue. Looks like their system has a lot of bugs. Emailed them, no response. can't be bothered to call at the moment. (post copied from another thread below)

Anyone else use Aquire and get incorrect points postings?

SYD-SFO in economy should net 2025 Aquire points, yet I got 255 (lol) and SFO to SYD in discount economy should net 1350 Aquire points, yet I got 240!

QFF points and SC's posted correctly.

I'd be happy to assist with follow up. Please send me a private message with details, including your Qantas Frequent Flyer number and ABN as reference.

Our Aquire team are currently working on an IT issue impacting Aquire Points earned from a limited number of Qantas flights. They hope to have a resolution in place soon.

No need to get in touch individually as any discrepancies will be automatically adjusted by 31 January. However should you have any concerns regarding this matter after 1 February 2016, please contact the team via this link: https://www.aquire.com.au/contactus.

Thanks for the offer and the update Red Roo. I assumed a computer issue may have been a cause. I'll re-check in Feb.

And I'll continue to look forward to my upcoming Qantas flights.

FYI, it's Feb 1st and (unsurprisingly) my additional points have not been credited.

I've had an issue I first contacted Aquire about in the first week of December

Communication is not one of their strengths- I think it is time to enlist RR's help with a PM tomorrow
