Hi,

Does anyone have a ballpark figure for a one-way redemption using Velocity points from Sydney to Singapore? I know you can ring up the call centre, but was wondering if anyone here had any idea before I call them.

Thanks,
LP

Don't have the numbers for syd - sin, but the Velocity website shows Bne - Sin as 28900 points + $111.53 in taxes and fees (one way economy). Gives you a ballpark for what syd - sin might be worth.

So is a good use of points? I have about 240k VA points and 500k QFF points. Looking at going to Europe 1 adult and 1 child in June/July and want to stop in HKG one way and SIN the other way. Am VA plat and EK gold. What's the best use / value of the points ?

That time of year it would depend on what airline you can get a seat on ... VA does not have a partner that services HKG direct from AU ( VS finish soon) so you could look at using VA points on SQ SYD SIN EU and QF points EU HKG SYD

If I want to travel to Warsaw, and SQ do not fly there, is it possible to use the points on SQ code share partners such as LO or LH or only on those flights served by SQ metal?

Can only use SQ marketed and operated flights..... Don't think any VA or QF partner has a direct flight from HKG or SIN to WAW?. Might be easier to get a flight to the closest city and train from there

Can use EK/AY or BA to fly to Warsaw. Air Berlin also fly there, they are one world, but Warsaw appears on the list of destinations that can be booked with AirBerlin via Velocity (at least on their points calculator).

You can use any AB marketed and operated flight with Velocity points, just need to call to book
