My Krisflyer expired a while ago, but I am thinking about rejoining and transferring some Altitude points over.

I was wondering if anyone knew the approx. taxes on return saver award MEL-SIN-MEL? Or how I might be able to estimate them myself.

Sign up for a new KrisFlyer account.

I have some miles in my account now but from memory you could do an award flight search without any miles in account?

Easy to find out surcharges with SQ, without an account even. Price a commercial fare in the cabin class you want and between the cities you want, any date will do. On the second screen (with fare quote), simple click on "fare breakdown" button towards the top LHS of the screen, beneath the fare. This shows the taxes and airport surcharges as one line item and "carrier surcharges" (aka fuel surcharges) as another. Add the two together and that is what you will pay on an award.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. This helps in determine the most cost effective way to use my points
