does anyone do this and have some tips/ tricks to the sourcing method they undertook?

exploring a little opportunity but looks like we'll have to offshore manufacturing to make it worthwhile financially.

feel free to PM if don't want to discuss 'out in the open'

many thanks

How did you get on with this? I've just placed a smallish order O/S, but found many suppliers were not that much cheaper than getting made locally (in fact, some were more expensive). The ones that were considerably cheaper (Pakistan basically) leave me a wee bit wary as to whether I'll ever see the product.

Correct. Smallish order won't be as cheap as one previously thought. If you want to get a chaper price, try to place a larger order with other dealers. Why I know this? I work for a company that manufactures and supplies chemical products like inhibitors.
