Just received this email -
Thanks for choosing Jetstar for your flight from Sydney.
We thought you should know that there is anticipated to be much heavier road traffic than normal to and from Sydney domestic and international terminals during the week of the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic
Co-operation) summit between September 2nd and 9th 2007.
NSW police have advised customers to consider taking the train to the airport rather than driving to ensure that you arrive in time for your flights.
For more information on Sydney train services please visit Welcome to CityRail or call 131 500.
If you do need to take your car, please be aware that NSW police are anticipating especially heavy traffic to the airport between September 7th to the 9th when many world leaders will arrive and depart.
However you intend to travel, it may be worth allowing extra time for your journey, so we can make sure we have plenty of time to check you in for your flight.
Check in for domestic flights opens two hours prior to your departure, and three hours prior to departure for international flights. Check in will close 30 minutes prior to your scheduled domestic departure, and 60 minutes prior to your scheduled international departure.
Thanks again for choosing to fly Jetstar.
And I think the state government is putting up prices for Airport Link tickets, around the same time.
