ANZ Platinum, 50k bonus QFF points after $1500 spend, no annual fee first year

Has anyone confirmed if they will actually award two lots of bonus points for two different cards (say a blue and platinum).

Other half (on half my income) received instant approval for $15k, so it might be easier to just get them another one.

How long are the passes valid for?

No - my hubby is having issues too. Applied for the Black two and a half weeks ago (on the Friday) got an email the Monday after asking for proof of income, sent it off.on Tuesday got a phone call asking for proof of income, resent it and stayed on phone to confirm it was received. As of last Friday still nothing has been looked at, said they would definitely look at it yesterday. So far nothing, so they will get another call this morning.

Me on the other hand, with a paltry income compared to him, applied for the basic card on Saturday just gone, approved yesterday with no docs requested. Doesn't make sense...

They told me yes on the phone. Obviously, have not received the points yet so cannot *confirm*.

I didn't get an email or a phone call to say approved. Just told, 'it's in the mail'.

I asked the contact centre and the operator confirmed that Points will be posted when you get your 4th statement if you've met the eligible spend criteria by then. So although the T&Cs can be read as the bonus Points being posted any time "within four months of the eligible spend criteria being met", don't expect to see the Points any quicker than towards the end of the 4 month period if you meet the criteria early.

Went for Black and have been approved.

The groundswell of activity here pulled me over line and got me motivated to get those free QFF points. FWIW I went for Black as we've maxed out all our other cards in regards to QFFP earning thanks to that glorious ATO thread. While the ATO still works and I'm still holding QF Plat status I'll be making this one a keeper. SWMBO has also submitted and should breeze through for approval.

My application took 3 weeks. I sent the required supporting info and heard nothing. Called them and was told the docs weren't received apparently. Sent the files again and after numerous calls, the pack finally arrived today. Through that process, I got given this number: 1800 092 098. This number bypass the call centre and goes directly to the group who verifies the supporting documents so you can find out where your application is at. Hope it's useful to someone.

I applied over a week ago and got a response saying it had been referred. Heard nothing more until today, when I got a phone call "to check a few details". Apparently I had inadvertently added an extra zero to my share of monthly expenses, which took my apparent monthly spending to approximately 4 times my take home pay!

Hopefully things will progress now that has been cleared up. But as usual, I was asked to send proof of income.
