Anyone who knows sydney airport T1 well enough

I would say, if you love it, and can't bear without the "kick", is to just pop into a Woolies and get a can.
I think Amazon sells a box of 24, and you can keep it aside, and drink it when you get back.
Would be cheaper to buy it in a crate of 24, or if you know someone who has a Costco membership, even cheaper.
Might be $50 for a crate of 24, but overall, it saves you having to pay the Woolies markup per can.
The "*omb residue" man/woman at the first point of security inspection, at SYD T1 might already ask for your bag to be swabbed, he/she would be the first to see the can.
Then it would have to go through xray.
And as we all know, if you mistreat a can of aerated drink/s, when you open it, the bubbles will explode the liquid out onto the floor, or your hands.
Best to just get 1 can, or crate of 24... prior to the day of flight.
Does DXB allow monster drinks?

Just checked, Amazon is asking for $46.71 for a crate of 24 cans, of 500ml of Monster, might be free delivery, haven't checked that far, but at $46.71/24, its $1.94 per can.

Ah, that rate needs you to go a monthly plan, heh, addiction indeed.
