I am not sure if a similar thread has been posted, but i am hoping to visit Russia and Scandinavia in late May 2021.
However i do realise that there are many uncertainties and variables which are out of our control (ie. Lifting of travel restrictions, borders re opening, planes starting to fly again etc)
So i won't be booking any award tickets and hotels soon.

I suppose, another thing to watch out for , is whether travel insurance will cover any virus related expenses.

I am just curious if anyone here is planning to travel overseas or domestically next year ?
I read an article which said that cruise companies and some tour operators have already had many bookings !

Planning to revisit our Germany trip but this time for August 2021. But I am treating it the same as RooFlyer.

Hoping to revisit what should have been a fun adventure to Europe, but no point in booking that yet.

On the other hand, shall be booking flights to Dili before the month is up, as the Air North partnership with Qantas ends soon and it's a good use of points I feel.

Want to re-schedule my planned trip with 15 year old son to Poland and Rome, originally end of September this year. All paid up, have to wait a bit longer to get refund or credit out of Singapore Airlines, then tackle refunds from Agoda and (should be easier) AirBNB.

If airline only offers credit, will re-book straight away for mid July 2021, then see how we go, if cash refund, maybe hold back to April 2021 or so to get lay of the land, but still plan on mid July 2021 school holidays.

May change up a bit, maybe into London - drive to North Wales, then Poland, then CERN and out of Geneva. TBC.

Good luck to all.

A boat trip to Whitsundays that was booked for May 2020 has been moved to May 2021, no flight bookings just yet will probably do that when things hopefully return to normal at the end of the year.

Like many others, this years cancelled trip to northern Europe will hopefully be resurrected for mid 2021. No bookings will be made until a little certainty emerges though. May end up doing another road trip in NZ if things don't pan out.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I love it up there. I have done 7 charters over two decades normally for about 2 weeks each time. Last time sadly the coral was ruined virtually everywhere due to the cyclone, including at a few secret sites that we used to frequent. :(

The giant and very tame and friendly Maori Wrasse has been there waiting to greet us every time we have been at Mantaray Bay and so hopefully he will still be there to greet you next year.

And yes we will do a lot on travel within Australia from self-skippered yacht charters, to off grid camping and 4WDing to some extended overnight hikes.

Internationally I expect it to be pretty much a wipe out. ;( Maybe something can be snuck in during late 2021. but will treat this as a real bonus if it happens.

I'll be flying domestically as soon as that is possible again. I'd like to go back to the regular monthly visits to Sydney with my daughter to see mum and dad.

We've only recently got back from Thailand and it would be nice to go back February 2021 but only if safe to do so and not forced into compulsory hotel quarantine arriving in Thailand and returning to Australia.

NZ as soon as ban is lifted ( was originally going there for this Easter )

Bali is booked for a 3 day status run in Sept ( still highly unlikely )

Revisit USA/Canada trip which is booked for this June/July but won't happen.

coughet & Singapore booked for Feb '21

South Africa for a mates 60th in Nov '21

Going to take a bit to get through all the credit vouchers!

Would like to visit Melbourne for another escape room run, plus domestic interstate for work. Time will tell if it kicks off again later this year or is pushed to 2021.

And I can't wait to get overseas again once it's safe.

This crisis is reminding me that travel is a privilege.

Hope to do the unfinished part of my DONE4 from March.

No sense even thinking about booking yet - lifting of restrictions on international travel is quite a way off.

Was supposed to be in Northern Italy Aug/Sept 2020 for my birthday. Alas, that's a no-go. Would love to resurrect it for 2021. Have a few bookings in the pipeline before then, but realistically am expecting to stay at home and reading an atlas with a wish-list.
