Anyone had luck redeeming Krisflyer Miles for Air New Zealand Flights

I understand that Air New Zealand doesn't release premium class reward seats to partner airlines often, but I was wondering if anyone had managed to snag a business class seat using Krisflyer miles? I'm looking at travelling from Melbourne to Auckland (or Wellington) and I have a lot of points with Singapore. Maybe there's a trick with timing or select routes that people have found?

I have, but as you say there’s not much availability in business class. And even if there is availability, the booking doesn’t always go through on the Singapore Airlines website.

I would use a third-party website like seats.aero or the Air Canada website to look for award availability.

The routes I’ve booked with KrisFlyer miles were BNE-CHC in Y and AKL-PER in J.

Also note that Air NZ flights to Wellington on their narrow bodies don't have a business cabin. You are limited to their flights to Auckland
