There are some interesting VS partner airline redemptions. E.g. NZ J from anywhere in Australia to New Zealand is 15,000 miles. During a 50% bonus promo, you could buy those miles for around AUD300. The best value would be on a redemption like PER-AKL, although availability is probably going to be an issue.

SYD-HND on NH for 45,000 Flying Club miles in J is also not bad. Those miles would cost just under AUD900 to buy with the current promo.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Virgin Atlantic is giving up to 50% bonus points again when buying Flying Club points until 30 April. (Bonus amount increases incrementally as you buy more points, you need to buy at least 100k points to get the full 50% bonus.)

Perhaps the most interesting part of the Flying Club program at the moment, for Australians, is its Air New Zealand award chart. It's 10,000 points one-way for any Air NZ trans-Tasman route in Economy or 15,000 points one-way in Business.

To give you an idea, it would cost approx. AU$405 to buy 15,000 Flying Club points at full price. With 50% bonus points, the cost reduces to something like $270. Add on the taxes, and that's ~$400 for NZ J from PER-AKL.

I have always found that VS had very little or no availability on its partners. I only managed to use my miles on VS flights.
