Hey guys,

Well I am booked (27th Feb 14) on EK5051, EK Booking, EK Frequent Flier, QF Metal BNE-SIN. I have booked the flight as a Flexi Fare.

Starts in AKL to BNE, then onto SIN, and the same in reverse for the reply - all 4 segments on different days, each separated by two weeks before the next segment.

When I log in, to check for upgrade availability - it doesn't allow an upgrade at all on the EK435 or EK5051 - but on the EK5051 it looks like it is set to never allow upgrades at all. This all has me questioning if an upgrade prior to flying with miles, has ever been achieved by anyone.

Lucky I was 50/50 on an upgrade. While I wouldn't mind trying the QF J product - I am saving up my miles to upgrade my flights on EK through to the US when I finally am able to slot it into my schedule.

My current booking for completion:
EK435 - 16th February
EK5051 - 27th February
EK432 - 14th March
EK434 - 30th March

You need to be booked on QF flight numbers to upgrade using QF points, and EK flight numbers using Skywards, upgrading on Codeshares is rarely possible amongst many program's.
