I'm looking at the Qantas website and see that they have a USA Deal on at the moment, but can't find anywhere where they say when the sale finishes. I haven't received an email so can't check that out like I'd normally do to find when the sale expires. Any ideas where to find it out without having to call QF up?

Thanks!

If you click on "view all specials" on the home page you se what specials are on from what city and what the prices are over the year.

At a guess, by looking at the fare rules in ExpertFlyer - it says tickets must be issued on/before 30th June.

The specified dates are relevant as long as they haven't sold out of the seats allocated to those fare buckets beforehand. In other words, to use a familiar phrase "seats are limited" .. and even if seats at the sale price have just about all gone, there will be a "sale" advertised if one remains over the entire time span. Then try to find it.

I suspect Qantas doesn't know either.

Last domestic sale expired early and I didn't get a chance to book flights I wanted.

The current domestic sale was due to end on 22 June. This time I thought better do it early so woke up in middle of the night the night before and booked the flights I wanted. Next morning receive an email that sale has been extended until 30 June. Argh.

Why is there a need to play childish games with customers? To get you into a habit of booking early? Then companies wonder why their reputations are so poor.

I dare say there's something wrong with a browser somewhere. In Chrome it tells me the sale ends 30 June, just under that orange "Sale" arrow on the top right.

On Sunday 21 June the sale was ending on 22 June. On the same browser the sale is now ending 30 June.

Haven't cleared cache. Haven't done anything. Wasn't seeing things.

This is the same as the IHG promotion. When I booked the resort for the Set your sights promotion there was no requirement on the number of nights you had to stay. Just needed a stay. Now I see there is a minimum requirement of 3 nights which was not there on 01 January. I tried finding cached pages on internet but no luck. You can't keep tricking your customers. I am not going to be loyal to IHG anymore. No great loss.

I was answering the OP. Your issue is explained by a sale extension. As you've already mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the orange sale arrow and end date wasn't there at the time the OP posted - if you look at the screen shot in the second post, the sale arrow and end date are missing.

Which is strange as it was there when I looked at the website before this thread was created and it was there later when I did my screen photo.

Just another screen capture taken this morning. I know the USA deals end 30/6 from your info above, but unsure where you'd find this info out if you weren't aware. The LAX specials do show as would expect at the moment with the Disney sale.
