Hi everyone
In a couple of weeks i will be flying SYD-ICN on OZ , in J, on the 777 of course . My question is , is there any way I can find out whether I will have the quadra smartium seats?

Also anyone else flown this route recently in J? What's the quality of amenity kits etc etc on the day flight.

cheers

Robbie

SYD-ICN (and vv) seems to be listed as a 772 each day... except for a 333 on (some?) Saturdays... The QS birds are either 77L or 77W I believe... so I suspect you might be out of luck...

(I checked early July)

I believe HL7500, HL7596, and HL7597 are the only 3 777's left with non-QS as they were their earliest deliveries, they don't have AVOD either.

And
HL7700 and HL7732 are either already converted to QS or due to be VERY soon, but unsure of their current status.

OZ 601 - ICN - SYD will give you an indication of which are operating regularly.

I flew this route in J ( 777 but not QS) in Oct 2012.
In short I loved it :)
Great service, great food (try the bibimbap), so-so hard product but perfectly fine for a day flight.
You can find a review I did on Ausbt if you are interested

Freaky - I was reading that review today while bored at work! I thought you would have been more damning in your assessment of their seat.

It's a day flight, so the sky-slope bed is fine. It seems similar to what VA have on the A330 transcons.
Night flight = not so good

I flew SYD-ICN in July 2012 and I should really remember what is was like but I don't.

From memory I was in the first row of business, good attentive service throughout, IFE was not that crash hot and I can't recall the product but I have no problems sleeping in economy so business would not be an issue.
