Any restrictions on PC vs PC+ vouchers ?

Hi there
I am trying to apply someone else PCP voucher - I am only a PC member.
When I add the promo code it still says the total to pay is $142

Does anyone know if PCP vouchers are restricted for use by PCP members?

Or will it apply the discount after I click 'Pay Now' ?
(It doesnt seem logical to me that you would click 'pay now' after entering your CC details, then have the discount applied later_
