Any members in Mackay?

Hi team, I have just moved to Mackay from Brisbane and wondering if there are any forum members up this way? I work in IT and can basically work from anywhere so thought I would hit the road a bit in the lack of overseas travel. My only requirement was to be near a QF airport so I can scoot back to BNE if needed.

I have never been here before and first impressions are fantastic Stumbled across a beer and BBQ festival on the weekend - great timing.

I already have a long list of things to do but I am open to anymore suggestions.

You just missed the food and wine festival last month when I went up for a weekend (but arrived too late and walked all the way into town from the airport as there were no taxis)...
