There are no Iberia'n scheduled flights into/out of AU as far as I am aware.

Potentially a gov sponsored repatriation to Spain or similar?

There's been all sorts of weird and wonderful journeys into and out of or over Australia in the last few weeks.

You've had KLM into SYD via KUL. Egypt Air nonstop BNE-CAI. LH overflying enroute between BKK & AKL/CHC, as well as LX and maybe even OS.
