Any Giftcard/Credit Promotions ever come up?

Hi All,

I have about 139,000 points and was wondering if it is worth cashing them in now, or wait to see if they ever have a promotion on redemption of Credit/Wow cards or coles cards.

Has anyone ever seen such things come up?

Or any other better ways to burn?

Using points to buy gift cards is a no no around here ... so you won't get many answers.
We all buy gift cards with cash to earn more points

I'm fairly content buying US airways points for my travel. I rarely travel to only 1 destination on a trip (apart if I travel to vietnam or Hong Kong), hence the stopover and generous routing of US airways is excellent.

Not sure about those cards specifically, but there are discounts on redemption rates from time to time.
