We have one P1, one WP, 3 x PS and 1 NB. I'm LTG and Shrek is about 1000 SC to go.
Shrek has no desire to scale the heights of P1. Given he gets mistaken for the P1 on the few times we fly together that's sufficient to stroke his ego  :p

PF: Your "mob" must be battling it out with the Platinum One clan (post #14) for line honours.:)

There'd be some I imagine - my extremely limited sighting of them makes me think that when CL is given to someone, their spouse stands a good chance of being given a 'courtesy' membership, at least in some cases.

Miss 11yo is Gold, sitting on 900 SCs and had a couple of years as WP. 5200 lifetime SC's.

Jeepers!

My parents are both WP. Have been that way for about 5+yrs.

I taught Dad the ways of the SC.

Mum doesn't care and doesn't understand what all the fuss is about. However, she doesn't know any other way of travel!

While not a huge number, every CL I know their spouse gets automatic CL status when flying, even alone (CL access, upgrades to J - if available - when flights changed etc).

Agree spouse CL membership is a perk for CL members - in addition I know at least a few couples where both have become invited in their own right - think Senators/Members of Federal Parliament whose spouses are Ministers in State Governments etc.
