I searched the QF site for this transfer service, but it may have been discontinued. Has it been replaced with the $5 pp Skygate airport transit bus?
If so, can you tell me where that bus stop is at the domestic terminal? We are arriving at the Qantas end of domestic. Is it still a yellow bus?

Plan B is to get a cab, though some drivers will grumble for the short trip/ small fare between terminals.

Thanks in advance.

Out of the domestic arrivals turn right (past the Hudsons Coffee) and get the TBus - it is signed within the terminal IIRC

Driver will check your BP and put a mark on his list which I assume bills QF for their services.

T-Bus is an orange bus but some have been repainted recently. Or new buses?

Obviously free with a QF boarding pass.

Or and don't say I told you this but you can say you are going to DFO and sneak off at international or just go to DFO and come back. ;)

Is that a new thing where they actually check your BP and mark something down? To be fair I've not done this transfer for a few months so things may have changed lately but for the last few years I've just flashed the (any) QF BP and the driver just waves you on.

They have a pre-printed sheet for statistics where for each service they mark down how many people get on and where they going. With Qantas it will be sighting a boarding pass, with Virgin it will be the voucher attached to your itinerary and obviously with DFO it will be free.

The bus stop right out the front of the QF domestic terminal. Every TBus will go to the international terminal & every second bus continues on to Skygate/DFO afterwards.

I was not asked nor did I have a bp last week - I had a flight out international but was coming back via domestic (which ended up being back to international). Parked at domestic and caught T Bus each way- there was a taped handwritten sign over the pricing section at the stops each end saying"free"

Can I rightly assume that a QF (domestic) connecting with HA (AA award) would have no issue - flash the QF BP?

No issue now the bus is free. If your HA flight is in a separate pnr from the QF flight your bag would only be tagged to BNE so you would need to collect it first at the domestic terminal then take it with you on the bus to the international terminal.

There is a luggage rack on the bus for suitcases unlike the airside shuttle bus in SYD.

Simply flash the boarding pass and you'll be fine.

Here's a close up of the shuttle times.

It seems that the bus that goes to the intl terminal only drops you off at level 2 arrivals as it then takes arriving pax back to the domestic terminal.

You would need to take the elevator up to level 4 where checkin is.

Every second bus will go to the intl terminal first dropping off at level 4 before continuing on to Skygate/DFO therefore pax going to DFO from the intl term would catch the bus from level 4.
