Antarctica Flights using Qantas Points/Chimu Adventures

We are in economy window view seat and got the lounge access information. Neither of us are Qantas club members.
The tcs say you just had to be a Qantas member, so technically I guess you could be declined if you don't have a basic Qantas account, but I feel there not going to care

Yes we got in without a problem. The counter staff had no idea about whether it was included they said no initially, we showed them the letter or the pdf that had lounge access inclusion comment , they apologies and waved us through
Thank you

Had a fantastic flight yesterday, 15 hours in ‘Y‘ unobstructed view and we had no one next to us to swap half way through so we go window seats for the complete flight,

The first photo in my previous post won us a southern lights flight on 1st April 2022. Much the similar process as the Antarctica flight but a night flight from BNE. Here are some photos from that flight

Effective from 22 June 2023, Qantas Frequent Flyers will no longer earn Qantas Points on eligible packages or cruises with Chimu Adventures:
At an earn rate of 1 point per dollar and tours ranging from $1166 (cheapest Antarctica Qantas flight from MEL) through to $32990 (21 days around the Falklands) I'm hardly surprised this is ending.

The bigger question will be if Chimu continue to use QF for the sightseeing flights. The 2023/2024 flights are schedule to but who knows long term.
