At midday yesterday I got my itinerary emailed from the QF website (only because I wanted a copy without coffee stains) – trip was booked months ago.
Then overnight I got notice of a time change to an IB flight earlier in the trip. So while looking up the details online I did a quick check of the other flights' details (force of habit for me - I'm pedantic) against the emailed itinerary.
The IB flight was the only one flagged as changed but I noticed that there was a 40 minute difference in the departure time for QF94 (LAX - MEL) for 18th May between what the web site was displaying and what the itinerary printout from yesterday showed.
On checking, I found that 23.30 was the original departure but it was changed a couple of months ago to 22.50. So why is QF still sending me an itinerary yesterday with the wrong departure time, months after it was changed, which could have seen us arrive 40 mins late at LAX?
I think I can guess who QF would have blamed if we did arrive too late to get the flight!
