Hi all

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I did a search on ORC and could only see issues about changes within the Qantas and/or One World family. So I wasn't sure if this might be different.

A couple of retired friends of mine took a trip in July this year - booked as QF J class, CBR-SYD-YVR and return. But some time before they left, they were involuntarily transferred to an Air Canada flight for SYD-YVR. I understand that this was due to a Qantas schedule change that meant they would miss the cruise they had booked leaving Vancouver.

Do people here believe they should be able to ask Qantas to apply the ORC in this case? The move to Air Canada certainly cost them plenty of points and SCs.

Thanks very much,
Horatio
