Another HBA fail

Just a normal HBA whinge.

There are two security / x-ray machine installations at HBA.

As usual this morning, only one was operating and the queue, in the 10 minutes I waited, never got below 60 people.

Next time you are in an airport security queue, imagine a line of 60 people in front of you.

Once inside pax can enjoy an overcrowded general concourse with expensive food & bev, a non existent VA lounge or a crowded QF lounge with no empty seats. :evil:

Not limited to HBA.

A few weeks back in OOL only 2 Xray machines in operation and queue had 40-50 people and moving slowly. The priority queue helps but you have still have to wait. Xray processing is also slow.

In BNE on Friday queue was snaking around as 1 Xray machine was not in operation. The priority queue merged into the middle of the snaking queue. A little bit quicker thsn OOL.

HBA ****s me, it's the only airport anywhere in the world that i basically have to get naked to walk through.
