Apart from Turkish a European airline with real business class is slim, if any pickings.

OMaaT has a story that Eurowings - the Lufthansa LCC is going to roll out proper business class seating - ie 2-2 on A320neas, not 3-3 with the middle seat blocked.

Eurowings’ A320neos boast 180 seats, spread across 30 rows, in a 3-3 configuration. The first three rows of the plane (18 seats, 12 of which are bookable, due to blocked middles) are being replaced by two rows of these recliner seats, meaning the per-seat footprint is around 50% bigger than in standard business class.

In addition to more space (nearly one meter of legroom) and recline, the seats feature a coughtail table and a USB charging port. Furthermore, those seated in these special seats will receive a welcome drink, a refreshing towel, and nuts on all routes. On medium-haul service to Dubai, there’s also a pillow and blanket, an amenity kit, and special dining served on porcelain.

Eh??

Eurowings CEO quoted in Lucky’s article as saying:

With the Premium BIZ Seat, we’re among the first airlines in the world to introduce a genuinely comfortable seating experience on short-haul continental flights…

Errr… continental USA it’s already standard, continental Australia, also standard. Continental Africa… and Asia… again standard.

Presume he means continental Europe.

Ironic that a Lufthansa subsidiary is able to get themselves up to date with an acceptable regional business class product, yet Lufthansa still fly planes with 2-2-2 layout in J class.

I would note it's 8 jets out of 90, so it's not exactly a radical thing - 9% of the fleet.

It's the same as TP/IB/EI/AZ flying their subfleets of lie-flat-equipped narrowbodies on shorter routes between medium-haul segments, except, the seats are just recliners rather than lie-flat.

BER-DXB is about the same length as what the AZ A321neo's do, for example.
