Cathay just canned the A350-900 route to YVR.
I was booked on CX855 to fly YVR - HKG but got the notice tonight. They rebooked me to the midnight CX865 (which is the JFK-YVR-HKG flight number).

Looks like HKG-YVR will be reduced to 2 daily flights and both on 777.

I had a look at the Cathay website and and the last A350 flight will be 12th October 2019.
