Another 50% SC promo

I got this as well. I might use it if I decide to make any bookings, but unlike my pre-LTG days it probably isn't going to inspire me to make bookings. I requalified for WP ages ago and also warned the recipient of partner gold not to expect requal this year ;)

Now if the "P1 experiences" thread was full of happy stories instead of absolute service failures I might think differently.....

Already have flights booked that will take me past WP requal. With offer running to end of February 2015, it gives me two months into the new qualifying year @ 50% Bonus, but I'm not certain that is enough to detract me from switching my flying to OneWorld partners and crediting the same to BAEC.

If I have a voucher from a cancelled flight (which is currently booked), I gather I can use that and it falls into the category of a new booking. I'm trying to work out if it is worth it, as there will be a pretty hefty cancellation fee. It would certainly help me re-qual for WP. MEL-SYD-HKG return in J. Extra 160 SC's.

Grrr! Received this offer but had booked SIN flight only 72hrs ago.
Does ringing up QF Premium line and pleading sympathy get you anywhere?? I'm not hopeful at all but interested to hear if it has worked in past

Does the voucher still note the original booking date (ie. make it ineligible for cancel-rebook)?

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Sort of ironic I received this offer the same day I tried to do some bookings for inlaws using points - have truly discovered the reality that even simple bookings, six months out (bne-lax) are not just almost imposible to get, but the ¨taxes¨ etc aren´t much short of just buying a normal fare. Suddenly makes me very unsure of how much the points I have are worth. Cant even reassure myself that LTG has any real value.

Usually am very pro-QF, but tonight the combo of the available redemptions, and the cough website, has taken its toll. They can shove their doublé SC offer. They shouldnt need to offer it!!!!!!!!!

Got it too, By coincidence my membership is due in Feb, so perfect timing for me.

Am WP, last month clicked over the 600 SC to qualify for SG outright (no need to rely on soft landing), highly unlikely to re-qualify for WP. this offer may help me get closer & therefore increase chances of being comp'd WP for another year.

Also any help to reach lifetime SG is always appreciated!

Got it, with 25 SC in the bank 4.5 months into my membership year.

Flying exclusively VA for work now (at least domestically) so it isn't really going to help retain WP.

I didn't receive it even though I had booked flights under the earlier promotion in August, and would possibly have done so again...

Also received it, and will get some joy on a few further domestic bookings this year, but would have been better a few weeks ago when I booked MEL>LAX>DFW>BZE>MIA>JFK>LAX>SYD.

......(Sigh).

Got it also, first one ever. With renewal in June I am already assured of Gold requalification so not much use to me either.

First time ever......got a QF extra SC offer!

I'm not sure of the logic, but I have been utilising QF more so of late (still NB though) and this may help achieve silver. I have OW silver so I don't really see the benefit, plus I'm probably best described as a "jaded" status flyer thanks to VA and their cerebral haemorrhaging mess they call a marketing department. I'm interested in neither QF status nor VA status, but as luck has it, I'll probably end up with both.

I guess SC on classic awards doesn't fall into the normally earning category.

Guess, also, that I need to book my February flights before the end of the year. Wonder if I can fly somewhere at Christmas. :?:
