Anyone else get this offer...

Spend $500 at Virgin, BP or Hertz before 10/12/17 and get 5k VFF bonus points.

Not bad as it is money I will be spending anyway at those locations.
 
Seems a little unclear, do people think it is $500 across these merchants combined or does it have to be $500 at one?

Be careful of non participating retailers too. Hertz Hobart for example, as they are run by AutoRent.
