I have just been going through something similiar.
Review came through and limit applied, whilst I was overseas and late on a Friday night, so I couldn’t sort it till Monday. Actually screwed up my holiday quite a bit.
I had Gradually increased spending up to about 55k after having card for 10 months. 60%personal spend, 40% business (mostly on my partners additional card as she owns a business).
Sent in my tax return to lift limit from the review, eventually came good. Still pissed off about their very bad business practices.
2 weeks later, they then suspend my partners card and cancel my Apple Pay.
On the phone they kept on bringing up business spend. Kinda hinting we need to get a business card.
But if you go to “offers” right now you will find a pay.com.au offer of 20,000 bonus points if you spend $10,000 of BUSINESS expenses on your platinum personal card through pay.com.au.
So here they are encouraging business spend on a personal card.
Amex starting to get annoying.
