Amex Shop Small is on [Oct/Nov 2016]

Just split payment across 2 cards at chemist and then same at the deli across the road. No idea if chemist is in the small program but deli is and I have not received amex notification of either transaction. Is amex notifying this time round?

Small shop has not started yet!

Starts Monday October 31.

Doh.........unlike you Ralph, I usually do not need to bother with small print. Let me down this time. The way everyone was talking I thought we were into it.

Planning is key :)

I've already located 10 shops that I will visit on Monday and 5 purchases I will make at each shop.

With 120 purchases to be made by the end of the month planing is key :)

I'll be hoping that the cash backs come straight away as I need to cancel all AMEX cards before the end of Nov in order to get my applications in for 3 new credit cards by the end of 2016.

When planning I like to review the shop small list against the Entertainment Book vouchers - many restaurants in my area are in both

there are a few newsagencies on this list - this can be a chance to top up Opal at half price, yeah?

It's possible. There are often other types of shops that do Opal that are part of small shop.

I'm looking to buy a new printer. Costs about $1000 at mediaform who aren't a shop small merchant. Would be interested if anyone knows of a computer shop that's in shop small that might be able to source it for me. Can't see any search tools on the shop small map to help me narrow it down.

There are five chemists that I have been to this year, depending on where I am when I think of getting something, and they all take Amex. So, it seems fairly common around my area.

Download the ozbargain excel spreadsheet & do a search that way. I find it more useful than searching the 'map' ;)
