Requirements:
  • have an annual business revenue of $75,000 or more
  • have a valid ABN registered for GST

My application experience:
This offer seems to have just come out this week. I signed up on the 10th Jan when the offer was 100k (offer ended that day) and was approved on the spot. Messaged Amex today and they said they will issue the additional 50k for the changed offer after I meet the min spend 😄. Submitted business details (ABN, duration, income, etc) and personal income. Didn't require tax return or bank statements. I am registered for GST but can't remember if the form requested it. It's been a long time since I've been able to get a card and this one definitely required the least information. First time not having to submit all my expense details, attaching contracts/bank statements/etc!

I've been waiting for this offer and it seems to be around the highest it gets (with one 160k offer in the past ~2-3 years).

I would be grateful if you used my referral link. Having just experienced Qatar Airways J class (just wow) I'm saving up for more flights! 😊 Thanks for reading.

I've a friend looking to set up an Amex for their supermarket business, and will be sure to pass on this referral link for this card, if that's the choice.

Do you know if the referral works for the other Business cards too? I think that Platinum may be more suitable with Membership Rewards instead of Qantas only. I ask because personal card Amex referral offers work that way:

Unfortunately I don't think my referral link works for other cards. There would normally be a button at the bottom like this which mine doesn't have.

Thanks in advance , if anyone happens to use my link. I will get a bonus of 10,000 points if your application is approved.

Thanks turnipapple for the heads up on this card! I've signed-up using your referral link. It was definitely the easiest credit card application I've ever done.

The card arrived today after applying last weekend and minimum spend has been made. We'll see how long the points take.

If you register with Qantas by February 28th (and don't have another Qantas points earning card) they'll add another 20,000 bonus points.

If you use my referral code to apply I'll receive 100,000 points for which I will be very grateful.

Thanks @turnipapple for starting this thread. As a relatively long-term Amex QBR cardmember (for just shy of four years now) and someone who holds almost all types of Amex cards (I'm a huge fan of Amex!), I have to say the Amex QBR card is one of the best and one of my favourites. Though it doesn't have the $450 flight credit as the personal Ultimate Qantas card (which I hold too), the flexibility of the QBR program and the possibility of transferring QF points to any QFF account without breaching Ts&Cs (as this feature is specifically allowed by the program) just make the card sooooo stand out.

Declaration of interest: If you use my referral link to apply by 4 April and get approved, I will receive 100,000 QF points (see the gif below).

Thanks in advance and you're more than welcome to ask me for any questions related to this card, or Amex or credit cards/charge cards in general.

Qantas points have been savagely devalued so our whole family are chasing Kris Flyer Miles.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
