Like 6head? They definitely seem to all be on a theme- meat centric overly dark and over priced restaurants. Not a fan there either.

Totally agree. Mediocre overpriced food.
I used to eat there in the past, but only when there was a good promo on (like when The Fork was around and they accepted The Fork Yums).

Definitely would not want to waste the amex dining credit at Meat and Wine Co!

Ironically I went there last night as a walk-in cause I was given a Best Restaurants giftcard and they're one of the few restaurants that accept this giftcard in Canberra, but they were booked out. Couldnt believe it was full house on a Wednesday night?!

Used Amex at Charley Noble in Wellington last week and got $200 credit next day. Nice.

I had the luncheon set menu and one glass of wine. I was on a budget. Cost ~$400, $200 with Amex's help, and was an amazing 3 htrs.
I had checked the menu beforehand and was very happy with each of the 4 courses, and then there was a succession of amuse-bouche including a soup and a pre-dessert dessert, and chocolates to finsh. Oh, and there was duck. Mine was Canard #1,205,155.
