I guess many are aware of this, but I had no idea.
So I was booking on J* (MEL-CHC) and saw the Paypal option, so I thought sweet, the fee is cheaper, I'll just use my Amex through that....Denied!
"This business does not accept Amex through Paypal" Boo. Had to use MC.
A question though: I get travel insurance through my Amex/MC. If I've paid through Paypal, am I covered?
I'll be purchasing accommodation anyway, and the spend on that will be enough to be insured for the whole trip, but just wondering.
