AMEX MR to Qantas FF

I'm a bit confused...
I have a American Express Platinum Edge Credit Card. I recently redeemed the free virgin flight.
Can I (and if so how) now use this card to earn Qantas FF points? I've noticed the list of transfer partners when i log in doesn't include qff.

For the platinum edge,
Qantas is not one of the 9 airlines that you can transfer your points too.
From memory, only the platinum charge card lets you convert to QFF.

This is not actually correct; there is an obscure card type called "Rewards Advantage Card", of which I have one, which also offers this ability. I suspect this card may be "invitation only".

Found an old thread about the card whughes23 was talking about.
Apparently it's also a charge card like the platinum. The thread was started in 2008.

The "Rewards Advantage" is indeed a charge card; I used to have one of the old green charge cards, but in 2008 they cancelled it and replaced it with the new one. I am not sure if it is currently possible to actually apply for this card.
