I've used up the offer on my card and it came to exactly 10,000 extra points. My wife was luckier and got extra points for the entire purchase that took her over $5,000 spend.

They said that it's targeted only however gave me 2000 points as a gesture of goodwill... was expecting just an outright no so that was a pretty decent outcome!
