I just recently signed up to AMEX BGP and think that it is a pretty good alternative to a lower spend SMB that doesn't need all the extra perks and higher annual fee from the platinum charge business. The annual fee is $395.

There are quite a few perks for travels and cashback offers especially on Xero, Google ads, Meta, AWS, Square and Dell, which will allow me to cover the annual fee through this already. It is a 1.5 points per $1 spend card, and has higher and lower point system depending on what you spend on.
