Ok, OK guys ( & gals ) you've now really put me off my flight LOL

PF....can you remember if row 1 had more leg room than row 2. I think I saw that they only have a 40 inch pitch.

Fortunately my flight is a day flight leaving LAX at 7.45am so something in the lounge for breaky and I wont really care about food on the plane

It's all horrendous I think. Cannot believe AA put this junk on the Hawaiian routes.
The ancient TV didn't work during the safety demo and I pointed it out to "Patty" as she went through the cabin afterwards. She proceeded to do an impromptu version of the safety video for the front rows of F that wouldn't have looked out of place on Saturday Night Live :mrgreen:

Hmmm. In my case 'Patty' was majorly t'eed off - not only did she have a 6am start due to the mechanical, but she had to work outbound and an immediate turn back to LAX. And... only got paid from door closing at pushback at LAX until door opening at HNL (and the same for the return). Was going to be something like 11 hours block flying (paid) and two hours+ on the ground (unpaid). Not a happy Patty (given her demeanor I didn't hold her up to check her name).

I'd probably select row 2 - more legroom and space to stretch out. There's virtually no recline on those seats anyway, so there won't be much of an issue if the person in front reclines. It's a pretty dire plane in terms of seating - but they are wide.

Agree there is need for the seats to be wide !!

Doing FEBO again on the 10 sectors I flew last month.
The ability to pre-order your entree online takes away any of the hassle though.

Now I didn't know about that. I got a cookie on a 3 hr flight once.......in F!!
