Hi All,

Just priced a rtn J cls MEL-CDG on QF late May - a bit over $11k (it a codeshare with AF - QF to SIN then AF to CDG). I then checked the AF website and for EXACTLY the same flights it is under $6k.

So am I right in thinking that the only difference would be the QF FF points and SC's? For $5,000?!?

I don't think it's any sort of 'super' special from AF - I am pretty sure its been around for a while and is valid 'until further notice'.

Are QF just having a lend? Or (and its quite possible!!) have I missed something?

Cheers,

Dave

davec - I just put a couple of dummy dates in - MEL-CDG 21st May and CDG-MEL 31st May and the J fare, all in, seems to be $8,194. So, you may have more luck if you can flex your travel dates. Notice the fares seem to vary considerably depending on the day of week travelled

Hey Paddy just widened my search by checking the box 'flexible with dates' and found the same thing as you - a rtn fare at $8,194. Still more than travelling with AF flight numbers but more reasonable!

Except I can't be more flexible with my dates I'm afraid! Will keep an eye out and see if any of the 'cheaper' seats appear when I need them......

Thanks!

be carefull there - Air France have a lot of Mixed Class fares where its economy on Qantas and then Business on AF. Just double check that you havn't clicked on that.
