Alternative to TripIt = TripWaffle

I've sent a Meeting appointment from my outlook calendar to the Tripwaffle Robot, and it's created the meeting as an event all fine.

However, everyone else on the meeting invite is now listed as a Trip Companion. I'm assuming, or rather hoping, they haven't been sent anything from Tripwaffle (slightly embarrassing if so!). Is there any way to remove the suggestion to add the entire list of event attendees from being "trip Companions" ? I have no interest in sharing the trip with them.

Definitely nothing sent. Auto-detected trip companions are never emailed unless you explicitly+individually invite them.

I'll add a guard now to prevent these types of emails polluting participant lists. Cheers.

Bit of a new area for us, so would be very open to feedback on this one.

If you scroll to the bottom of your trip, you should notice a new "Place Ideas" section.

The concept is for TripWaffle to start contributing to the discoverability/research side of travel, not just the execution of those plans. i.e. we want to help you find interesting stuff to do on your travels.

Tapping the 'Discover places' button will lead you to a heatmap of "interesting" locations around your destinations...

From here you can easily add these locations to your list of place ideas, and if it's a shared trip, other participants can up-vote those ideas.

Finally; tapping the 'Schedule it' button makes it easy to move those ideas into actual events on your trip timeline.

Hope this vaguely makes sense, and ultimately works out to be a useful addition to the waffle.

OMG, The Shore Hotel... I recommend it!
