Feature request please @tripwaffle

It would be great to be able to add airport without an IATA code.

Could you possibly add an option to select ICAO code where no IATA code exists.

In my case I’d like to add flight to/from the Talbot Bay seaplane port. ICAO: YTBY.

Unrelated to TW… I also requested FR24 add YTBY and they flat refused claiming it doesn’t have any flights.

I sent them the Flightaware data showing 20+ movements on the day of my visit.

And to highlight the point I also pointed out several airports on FR24 that don’t have flights but still appear on their map.

My issue is a much simpler one: I'm continually getting a message to say I need to enable notifications on my Android phone

I've been into settings , apps,....etc and enabled notifications but the message persists and notifications are not being received .

Any suggestions ?

Sorry to hear this. I'm on Android myself, so first thing I'd check is the actual android system settings to ensure notifications haven't been disabled for the TW app at the system level: hold down your finger on the app icon, then select "app info".

If that's all clear, please go to "Settings > Diagnostics > Copy all" in the TW app, and paste in an email to tripwaffle at fastmail dot com

This will allow us to diagnose what's going on for you.

ICAO code is now supported when adding/editing airports. I had to manually add the YTBY airport as its quite obscure, but easy enough to do.
