Alternative to TripIt = TripWaffle

IIRC there was a pop up targeting early adopters.

The ask was to complete a feedback survey on TW features and a luggage tag would be sent for successful completion.

Things were hectic at work so I dismissed the notification thinking I’d complete the survey on the weekend (this was about four weeks ago).

Sadly, the popup hasn’t reappeared, so if you get the survey pop up and want the bag tag, might be best to complete it immediately.

Ha, representing from Montenegro at present.

I tried to get these to all the wonderful AFF folks who have contributed to the evolution of TW, but I'm sorry if I've missed anyone- it can be hard to match up forum user names to TW users at times. If I missed you, please just email your TW user id (tap avatar in top-right) to tripwaffle at fastmail dot com

Caveat: I'm on the road until the end of July so it's going to be close to 1.5 months before I'll be able to get them to you.

Thanks again all for your super-helpful feedback, support and, at times, patience.

Excellent opportunity to road test the (hard & soft) product too! 😉

I'm just bringing a month-long trip (planes, trains and automobiles) to an end, based on TW. I turned off notifications from TripIt Pro a couple of weeks ago. :)

Trusting my tag will be waiting for me at home.

I've also been happy with Tripwaffle and wouldn't consider Tripit anymore.

Some clarity on what future plans for the app in terms of subscription/monetisation wouldn't go astray in the near future.

I was in a similar boat but I was waiting on taking a trip before I completed it (so it would have been a full honest review).
I was very happy with how it kept me updated through out the trip and I do like the historical stats. @tripwaffle if I could make one minor request (and its not a deal breaker more a nerdy nice to have) it would be nice to know on the multiple plans flown which trips they were, I know it has the year/s

We have six weeks in a month or so and was going to use the same approach re live TripIt comparison. Seriously re-considering now, knowing @RooFlyer level of detail 😊

Plus @tripwaffle assisted with feature tweaks to show additional itinerary info during just completed 3 day EnZed trip 👍

Enjoying the layout and customisation, though still need to run a spreadsheet to track total trip expenses.
Not sure if I'd initially missed it or a new addition, but the expenses widget is great. I'm currently impressed overall, and the fact it's free is amazing. Given none of this stuff is free to run, particularly at scale, i'm sure there's some of us who would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for ongoing quality (and no ads).

Well, I assume that's the plan and we are all helping to get it to 'payware' quality, which is fine by me.
