Alternative to TripIt = TripWaffle

It really is a LOT better than TI for capturing cruises. It was a right Royal PITA trying to enter POC for our current cruise due to some quirky ports that TI didn’t recognise.

Tripwaffle did a pretty good job off the booking confirmation but I deleted that and sent the cruise booklet that came a few weeks before sailing. It was able to parse all the ports and timings better than the original booking confirmation.

The only thing it doesn’t do is show your route between ports (which would be a best guess v a flight between A and B).

eg orange dots are POC, blue line is a flight. Actually, there’s a POC or two missing - start and finish! Which is probably technically correct. But odd it doesn’t show those?

I'm trying hard not to get sucked down a wormhole of cruise itineraries here 😉 ...
For this one specifically - please contact us through the app, so that we can look up the trip specifics.
Appreciate your perspective on the cruise side- not something we have a lot of in-house experience with.

I've got an odd one - 2 people travelling on same flight but on 2 different PNRs (Booked via separate channels due to frequent flyer award points). If I forward both - this does not seem to have any impact - however not sure if it should show 2 entries or just updated the first to reflect this.

Note I don't consider this an important feature/ addon.
At present it would basically ignore the second PNR. But I see your point, and it's valid. Will log this as a 'todo' in terms of supporting multi bookings on the same flight. Mostly a matter of displaying additional confirmation numbers / seats on the one event.

When landing, should there be push notifications about arrival gate and baggage carousel?
In theory: a push notification fires on touchdown/gate-arrival with baggage claim number (if we've determined it), and the flight isn't a connection.
In reality: there's some gaps in our approach (only fires about half the time). We'll dedicate some time today to improve this.

Solid request thanks. You can now specify map app of choice in settings > preferences

Print issues are harder. Assume this screenshot is from ios? We'll spend some time on this tomorrow.
Happy to say, printable itineraries have been overhauled- now using a .pdf based approach, rather than battling with the quirks of various platforms.
Paper size is intelligently chosen, but can be overridden in preferences.
Agenda and month layouts available, with a focus on compact/minimal.

This is a really neat way of presenting the data! It's a bit redundant for myself as I use the calendar integration, but I can see how useful it might be for those who don't use calendars.

Actually, my bad. I thought the start and finish ports were missing on the Trip Map I posted up thread but it was just a scale thing. The connecting flight between them masked the orange dots. If I zoom in, they’re there.

I’ve loaded up another cruise for next year and it seems to have captured it perfectly.
