Aloft - a W hotel

Hi everyone

Has anyone stayed at one of the aloft hotels yet? I've always been curious to find out what people thought of Aloft...I've even considered booking at Aloft on a couple of occasions given the fairly cheap rates....

anyone have any experiences to share?

There was some discussion about Aloft a few years ago but I have not seen any reports or reviews.

The SPG forum on FT has a few reviews on what little aLofts that have sprung up in the last few months. It's positioned as a mid market brand pricing wise ala Four Points by Sheraton. Conceptually, as you've noted - aLoft is the junior brand of W Hotels'.
