VA must be doing sumting right.

yes they have been cancelling BNE-SYD flights too (got moved 2 hours later....) jamming them all in. Would suggest fuel savings might be greatly supporting their weather reasons as well.

Certainly, I had a MEL-xCNS-HND booking changed to MEL-xBNE-xCNS-HND - earned another ~80 SC under the old system.

There's so many sport teams and their fans travelling for the game these days. It's common for me to see teams at the baggage carousel or lounge.

As a Swans man, there's no restraint when it comes to the Canberra Giants

As a data point, we flew BNE-SYD-MEL last week to both get our extra SC and see the Swans at MCG. Very few Swans fans on the way down for Thursday night footy.

30 flights ex SYD cancelled on the boards, just landed in from MEL. Cancelled VA flight last night due to storms, rebooked to this morning and then delayed 2 hours due to SYD’s high winds and single runway.
